Lisbon tram E28

Elétrico is Portuguese for electric, so transport routes served by trams have an ‘E’ before or after the route number on timetables etc.

12E – a short 4 kilometre (2 1/2 mile) clockwise-only city centre loop, using historic trams.

15E – the longest route, running between the city centre and Algés, via Belém. It uses modern tram cars only.

18E – running between the city centre and Ajuda, using historic trams.

24E – running between the city centre and Campolide, using historic trams.

25E – running between the city centre and Campo Ourique, via Estrela, using historic trams.

28E – THE iconic tourist route, running between the city centre and Campo Ourique, via Estrela, using historic trams.
